Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world which begins in our own community and spreads. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing up, to delivering the message.

Mission Outreach
We are committed to spreading of God’s word and supporting missionaries with our money and with our prayers. Each year we are involved in Lent Event, Act for Peace Christmas Bowl Appeal and Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for assistance, whether it be financially or in the organisation of fundraisers. For example, we provide groceries to be distributed at Salt Ministries, food hampers at Christmas for the local public school and we are a drop off point for Operation Christmas Child boxes. We need many volunteers to help sort and pack Operation Christmas Child boxes before the delivery cut off in October each year.

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. We have musically talented church members get involved in our worship ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

The stewards at our church fill an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, helping visitors, answering questions, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The stewards team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Behind the scenes roles are a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for God’s purposes. All of our coming events and news are communicated in a fortnightly noticesheet.

Children’s Ministries
Bringing up children can be a difficult task, and our children’s ministry provides encouragement to mums and dads through a supportive events involving children. We also have a children’s spot at our Sunday service where children of all ages learn about how much God loves and cares for them through simple discussion.

Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. On the first Sunday of the month after the morning service, prayer is available for anyone in need. Throughout the week, members of our church also pray for a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.
